Description
Postcard from an unknown soldier (No.1936,AIF) in Hazebrouck, France, 7 April 1916. Compares the countryside of France to that of Gallipoli and describes the devastation of the villages in France. Nonetheless, as he is soon to enter the trenches the soldier is optimistic about the coming year.
