Description
Typed transcript of a personal diary (1917-1918) written by 7027A Sergeant Christopher Sandilands while serving in France during the First World War. His diary entries document action at Ypres and Amiens (1917-1918) and Villers Bretonneux where he was wounded in May 1918. Also includes a Christmas card sent from daughter Rica Erickson to Sgt Major Sandilands whilst he was serving on the Western Front.
