Collection relating to the First World War service of 1102 Sergeant Paul Pottage of 2 and 12 Field Artillery Brigades, Gallipoli and France, 1915-16.

Wallet 1 of 1 - contains a typed copy of a letter, an original private diary and a transcript of the diary. The letter, written by Pottage to his father, describes his experiences on Gallipoli with 5th Battery, 2nd Field Artillery Brigade. The original letter was written from Egypt and dated 18 June 1915. The diary, covering March-September 1916, was written during Pottage's return to service after being repatriated to Australia in 1915 for medical reasons. Pottage served with 51st Battery, 13 Field Artillery Brigade in France.

Collection also includes a typed transcript of the diary.
