Description

Collection relating to 3706 Private (Pte) Thomas Herbert Wragg, who served with 26 Battalion during the First World War. Collection comprises six silk postcards that Pte Wragg wrote to his mother, and to 'Bob' whilst in France in 1916 and 1917. Pte Wragg was killed in action during the 2nd Division's attack on the Hindenburg Line at Bullecourt, France, on 3 May 1917, aged 28. He has no known grave. His name appears on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial in France.
