Bladen, Albert Percy OBE, VD (Chaplain, b.1865 - d.1936)
Description
Papers of Chaplain Albert Percy Bladen who accompanied the 23 Battalion to Gallipoli from July 1915 until the evacuation in December 1915. Items in the collection include his memoir titled 'An Anzac's tracks' narrating the voyage to the Middle East, conditions in the camps at Helilpolis and the arrival with the reinforcements at Gallipoli; photocopies of Bladen's service records and newspaper cuttings recounting his invovlement with the troops at Gallipoli.
