Description
Papers of 20017 Private Lancelot Crane, Army Medical Corps, 3 Australian General Hospital. The collection includes copies of extracts of letters to his wife Pearl, poems, and newspaper cuttings. The letters were written between October 1918 and May 1919. The letters relate to recoaling at Sierra Leone, a description of the 'Gaika' and life on board, de-lousing at Le Havre, France and a description of the return voyage on the 'Kanowna'.
