Description
Diary written by NX70509 Captain Robert Russell Walker of 2/26 Battalion, while interned as a Japanese Prisoner of War in Changi during the Second World War. Other papers include unit records of 2/26 Battalion, kept by Walker; samples of wartime Japanese currency; extracts from Walker's personal wartime diary, collated by his widow and a medical report of Walker's post-service health problems, written in 1963 by the Deputy Commissioner of the Repatriation Department.
