Description
Collection compiled by farmer Cornelius Wilson during the First World War. It comprises correspondence written to him by family friends and farm workers on the Wilson's property. Correspondents include 2660 Private James Rathie, 7 Light Horse Regiment, 1916-1918, and his brother 1170 Lance Corporal Archibald Rathie, 3 Battalion, 1915, and 723 Private Alick Robertson, 14 Machine Gun Company, 1917-1918. Also included in the collection are a letter written by Cornelius' son 65848 Private Arthur Wilson, 1918 and the diary he wrote in 1918 while on the troopship to England.
