Description
Collection relating to the service of 1549 Private William John Norman Spearman, 23 Battalion, AIF, at sea, Egypt, Gallipoli, France, 1915-1916. Collection consists of two original small notebooks in which Spearman kept a handwritten diary covering the period May 1915 to August 1916, and a typed transcript of Spearman's diary, made by Estelle Spearman in 1997.
