History / Summary

Leading Stoker Edward Cyril Chilmaid enlisted to the Royal Australian Navy on 3 March 1941. He served on a variety of bases and ships, including HMAS Brisbane, Cerberus, Rockhampton, Penguin, Moreton and Lismore. After the completion of the Second World War, Leading Stoker Chilmaid continued to serve, and was discharged on 11 February 1949.
