Description
Collection relating to the Second World War service of VX46480 Corporal Clement Douglas Coridas, Singapore, 1942-1945.
Collection consists of a notebook is crudely made from scrap paper, from the period that Singapore was under British control and bound with twine. It covers the period 20 February 1942 to 15 August 1945 and contains several short draft letters to Cpl Coridas' mother, several lists of names of other soldiers of unknown identity, an account of the number of aircraft that flew over the camp on a given day, and several hand-drawn calendars crossing off days.
