Wallet 1 of 5 – Consists of three diaries and one field message book relating to Major Frederick Phillimore Howell-Price.
The first diary was written by Frederick Phillimore Howell-Price between 1 January and 24 March 1916. It contains brief entries that mention his expectation to move from Egypt back to the front line, his activities while waiting in Egypt, and the disbandment of his unit.
The second diary was written by Frederick Phillimore Howell-Price between 8 March and 7 August 1977. It contains brief entries that mention setting up his unit with horses, his leave in Egypt, and summaries of his work as senior supply officer and movements.
The third diary was written by Frederick Phillimore Howell-Price between 6 March and 9 May 1918. It contains short entries that mention his work as Deputy Assistant Director of Supply & Transport, his visits with Brigadier-General Edward Fynmore Trew, and the movements of himself and those around him.
The field message book was kept by Frederick Phillimore Howell-Price between 18 October 1918 and 3 January 1919, and has entries on Australian Army Service corps requirement's and cash accounts. Loose in the book are documents regarding the pay for Howell-Price.

Wallet 2 of 5 – Consists of three folders of material relating to John Howell-Price.
Wallet 2 of 5, Folder 1 of 3 contains three letters from John Howell-Price to his parents, dated between 21 May 1916 and 7 December 1916.
Wallet 2 of 5, Folder 2 of 3 contains two sections of newspapers. The first, titled “How the Alcantara sank the Grief: a glorious struggle”, was taken from The World News issue dated 13 May 1916. The second is a copy of the Auckland newspaper, The Sun, dated10 September 1927. It contains an article on John Howell-Price on Page 26.
Wallet 2 of 5, Folder 3 of 3 contains four publications relating to John Howell-Price. It includes one copy of a menu for a luncheon commemorating the action between HMS Alcantara and SMS Greif, dated 29 February 1936 [including accompanying letter from Vice Admiral Wardle], a manuscript titled “The cruise, action and sinking of SMS Grief”, a book titled “Zeebrugge”, and a book titled “To England and Belgium”.
Wallet 3 of 5 – Consists of papers relating to the honours and awards given to the Howell-Price brothers. It contains:

1x “The Palestine pictoral Bible”, by James Clark and H.A. Harper, annotated 15 December 1912
1x “New testament”, annotated 2nd A.L.H. Bde. Maddi Egypt 14 March 1915. Possibly associated with Richmond Gordon Howell-Price.
1x “Book of common prayer”, associated with Phillip Llewelyn Howell-Price
