Description

Original diary, numerous letters to his wife and children, articles, photographs, postcards and official correspondence relating to Chaplain Major McKenzie's First World War service and the award of his Military Cross. Collection PR85/185 is another collection relating to McKenzie and contains the letters he wrote to Commander Hay of the Salvation Army. The two collections were donated separately and have been housed as they were received. There is some crossover of some pages of some of the letters in both collections.
