Barker, Lewis Ernest Stephen (Brigadier, b.1895 - d.1981)
Description
Reminiscences and military records of Brigadier Barker covering his service 1910-1946. Also contains a poem and signatures from Mersa Matruh, as well as a prayer book believed to have once belonged to General HCH Robertson. Other items include a map made on a bedsheet showing part of North Africa, used by Barker in a series of talks in Melbourne in early 1941 and two undated photographs of Barker in uniform.
