Knaggs, Albert Edward (Able Seaman, b.? - d.1916)
Description
Black and white photocopy of a 19 page typed transcription of the diary of 7893 Able Seaman Albert Edward Knaggs, who died of malaria on 22 October 1916. The diary has regular entries from 10 February 1914 to 19 July 1916, covering his service on the AE2 and his time interned as a prisoner of war in Turkey, 1915-1916. Also included is a photocopy of the casualty signal relating to the destruction of AE2.
