Collection relating to the First World War service of Lieutenant Colonel Carew Reynell, MID, 9th Light Horse. Collection consists of a photocopied typescript of Lieutenant Colonel Reynell's diary, covering December 1914 to August 1915. It describes in detail the forming of the Regiment, voyage to Gallipoli, and action agaist the Turks. Lieutenant Colonel Reynell was killed in action (KIA) in 1915.
