Description
A small collection relating to 1967 Bert Onions who served with the 53rd Bn AIF, during the First World War. Collection comprises 5 items; a pocket size notebook presumably belonging to Onions, with names and address and a poem titled 'Packs'; a small extract from a letter written by JW and F Onions; a photographic postcard of studio portrait of uniformed soldier, dated 14/09/18; a small sketch with name 'Pte A.E Lown' written on back; a small newspaper clipping reporting that Cpl Victor Simpson and Signaller C.J. Stimson had been reported wounded in France.
