Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of Sister Pearl Elizabeth Corkhill, AANS. Collection consists of personal letters written by Sister Corkhill to her family. They cover the voyage to Egypt, her posting to Choubrah Infectious Diseases Hospital, tourist activities prior to departure for France, allocation to 1st British General Hospital at Havre, the award of the Military Medal, and arrival in the United Kingdom prior to returning to Australia.
