This photograph was printed in Phillip Schuler's "The Battlefields of Anzac" with the following caption: "A group of well-known Light-horsemen, taken on the right of the Australasian position, near the Holly Ridge." Identified left to right: Lt Oliver ('Trooper Bluegum') Hogue, orderly officer; Brigadier General Ryrie, commander of the 2nd Light Horse Brigade; Major Foster, formerly ADC (aide-de-camp) to Major General Bridges; and Captain Pollok, formerly ADC to the Governor of Victoria.
