Description

A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Melanesia and the Netherlands East Indies. The text is written in the style of an old Japanese folk tale and the story is a satire on the Japanese military clique or the Emperor. The story implicitly ridicules the strategies taken by the Japanese forces and encourages Japanese troops to surrender to the Allied Forces.
