Description

A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Japan-Formosa and Melanesia. An English translation of the text is attached. The leaflet reports the surrender of Germany in Europe and blames the military rule in Germany for the war in Europe. The message states that the German soldiers, who preserved their lives as POWs, can now return home and start a new life. At the same time, it emphasises that the Allies can now concentrate on the war against the military clique in Japan.
