Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. This postcard features an envelope style with a layered design incorporating an intricate yellow pattern above a row of small red and yellow flowers in yellow baskets. Below this is a layer of small blue flowers. The bottom half of the design features sprigs of greenery. A small card insert features the message "I'm ever thinking of you", and a bouquet of purple flowers.
