Folder of 11 letters written by Field Marshal Lord William Birdwood to Arthur William de Brito Savile Foljambe (Lord Liverpool), between 13 December 1915 and 20 January 1919. These letters discuss topics such as the SS Maheno, the evacuation from Gallipoli, New Zealand troops, Anzac Day 1916, the movement of New Zealand troops to France, ciphers, censors, weather, Pozieres, England, assignment to command the 5th Army, and demobilisation.
