Description
Letters relating to the First World War service of 1311 Private Guy Hartley Arnold, 2nd Battalion. The letters were written by Guy Arnold to his father, Mr Ralph Arnold, between 5 February 1915 and 5 February 1916. In the letters, Guy Arnold describes his pride at marching through Sydney in full uniform, the monotony of life in the trenches at Gallipoli and Christmas on the Western Front.
