Letter from Brigadier Holmes to Mrs Addison, 1916
Description
Photostat copy of a letter relating to the First World War service of Lieutenant Wilfred Emmott Addison, 18th Battalion. The original letter was written by Brigadier William Holmes to Mrs Addison on 29 October 1916. In the letter, Brigadier Holmes attempts to answer questions about Wilfred Addison's death addressed to him in a previous letter from Mrs Addison. The photostat copy was made by the Australian War Memorial in 1928.
