Description

Letters and postcards relating to the First World War service of 251 Private Francis (Frank) Reardon, 3rd Machine Gun Battalion. The letters and postcards were written by Private Reardon to his family between 13 February 1917 and 1 February 1918. The postcards depict the places Private Reardon visited and the letters describe his activities and ask about events at home. Also included is a detailed letter written by Reardon to his father describing his Machine Gun Company and the work they do.
