Letters relating to the First World War service of 202 Private John Simpson Kirkpatrick, 3rd Field Ambulance. The letters were written by John Simpson to his mother, Sarah Kirkpatrick, between 7 January and 12 December 1912. All of the letters were written on board SS Kooringa from various ports around Australia.
