Diary relating to the First World War service of 1586 Private Verner Gladders Knuckey, 2nd Squadron, Australian Flying Corps. The diary was kept by Private Knuckey between 16 December 1917 and 16 May 1918. In the diary Private Knuckey describes the effects of cold weather on morale, recounts an incident involving General Birdwood and provides and account of the death of Baron von Richthofen.
