Diary relating to the First World War service of 2347 Staff Sergeant Henry 'Harry' Langtip, 4th Light Horse Regiment. In this diary, kept by Langtip between 17 April 1916 and 31 December 1916, he documents his embarkation from Melbourne and subsequent training and guard duty in Egypt. Along with his brothers 2348 Sergeant Leslie Langtip, 2346 Sapper Bertie Langtip and 2345 Sapper Ernest Langtip, he served in 4 Light Horse Regiment.
