Description
Notebook relating to the First World War service of Chaplain Vivian Agincourt Spence Little, RAN. The notebook contains two main entries. The first entry details the days preceding the battle between the HMAS Sydney and the SMS Emden on 9 November 1914 and it describes the assembly of the first convoy of Australian and New Zealand troopships at Albany and its makeup, including escort ships. The second entry is a detailed account of the battle on 9 November 1914.
