Diary of Lindsay Robert Turner, 1918-1919 (Vol. 6)
Description
Diary relating to the First World War service of Lieutenant Lindsay Robert Turner, 14th Field Artillery Brigade. The diary contains entries from 12 September 1918 to 6 January 1919 and is the sixth of seven volumes written by Turner documenting his service during the war. The diary entries cover the final stages of the war on the Western Front and his hospitalisation due to a gunshot wound he sustained to his face in late October 1918. The diary appears to have been transcribed from originals at some stage after his service in the war.
