Description

Postcards relating to the First World War service of Major Geoffrey Gordon McCrae, 7th Battalion. In this series of postcards to his family McCrae talks of the troopship voyage through the Red Sea, the scenery of Egypt, and the Turkish raid on the Suez Canal in early 1915. One of the postcards features a picture of McCrae. This file contains:
