Vol. 1: Diaries of Thomas James Richards, 26 August 1914 - 24 April 1915
Description
This series contains the first four First World War diaries of 25 Private Thomas James Richards, 1st Australian Field Ambulance. Sometime after returning home from the war, Richards had these diaries bound into a single volume and they were sent to the Australian War Memorial (AWM) in 1933. The binding was removed so that preservation scanning of the original diaries contained within could take place. Also included in this series is the transcript made by the AWM in 1935.
