Diary relating to the First World War service of 25 Private Thomas James Richards, 1st Australian Field Ambulance. The entries in this diary span the period 26 August to 18 November 1914 and cover his time in camp, his embarkation from Sydney aboard HMAT Euripides, and the troopship voyage to Egypt. This diary was originally bound by Richards into the first of four volumes and donated to the Australian War Memorial in 1933.
