Field grey shoulder strap, embroidered in scarlet cotton chain stitch with the lettering 'MW', over the numeral '24'.
History / Summary
This shoulder strap was collected by the Captain William Thomas Yates, DSO, during the Somme Battles of 1916. He enlisted on 25 April 1916 and served with 8 Battalion, AIF.
