Presentation watch fob : Private Timothy Todd, 6th Artillery Brigade, AIF
9 carat gold watch fob presented to Private Timothy Todd on his return to Australia after the First World War.
Obverse features Australian Coat of Arms in a raised circle, surmounted by two skaking hands. On either side of the circle is a rifle and underneath is a floral motif.
Reverse is engraved with the inscription 'PRESENTED TO T.TODD By His LITHGOW FRIENDS On His Return From War'.
Stamped below this is, a "[Flag] 9 [Sheaf]'.
Presented to 54747 Driver Timothy Todd, a labourer from Lithgow NSW who enlisted on the 2 April 1918. He joined 5 Artillery Brigade of the Australian Field Artillery on 29 April 1918 and sailed from Sydney on HMAT Feldmarschall on 19 June 1918. He returned to Australia on the 28 August 1919. Driver Todd's next of kin was listed as his friend, W Hatton of New Road Lithgow NSW.
