Oval shaped steel alloy identity disc with two holes ounched at the upper edge to allow it to be suspended from a thong or chain. The disc is stamped ' Alex. Lauenroth. Olper./ 6.11.97./ 1. Jag. Ers. Batl. 10/ 2. Ers. Radf. K. No 834'.
History / Summary
The history of this identity disc is unknown. The wording on the disc gives the name of the soldier, his date of birth and the two units in which he served. The first unit name is the Prussian 10th Reserve Jager Battalion, which became part of the 2nd Jager Regiment in early 1915.
