Description
Remains of a Webley Revolver. Two parts being the breech section of the barrel frame and the blown apart cylinder.
History / Summary
This revolver was issued to a member of a Lewis gun crew of the 15th Battalion. The gun received a direct hit from a German shell and all the crew were killed with the exception of the gunner, who was in possession of this pistol. He escaped unhurt. No other remains of the pistol were found.
