Description
Wooden sign formed from four edge-butted planks. The main background is painted in mustard yellow, over which is painted in black letters 'Hauptverbandplatz / San. Komp.' Two red crosses flank the wording 'San. Komp.' Painted lettering on the rear of the sign reads: 'Captured by 22nd Battn 2nd Aust Div during operations east of Villers Brettoneaux 8-9 August 1918. '
