Description
Improvised British sign board 'To Runner Post'. The sign consists of a wooden horizontal panel affixed to a rough, crooked wooden post. 'TO RUNNER POST' and an arrow pointing to the right are painted in black on the white surface of the board.
History / Summary
Found near Le Verguier which was captured by the Germans in their March 1918 Offensive. The notice was still standing when the town was recaptured by Australians six months later.
