Description
Discusses bombing the horse lines and camp by the "Torbes" (Taube - German aircraft), Damascus, Lawrence of Arabia, Harper, riots in Cario, how the horses were destroyed after the war had finished, the Surafend incident and how Allenby dressed down the Australian Light Horse. Battle of Romani, Mount Meredith General Royston, Col. Mills wounded in shoulder, Rafa, Sergeant Alan Burbury. Story of bringing a native boy (a Wallad) back to Hobart in Tasmania. Raising a Light Horse troop at Richmond Tasmania after the war with Lieutenant Swan. Jim Griffin was a model soldier.
