Description

Roy 'Woop' Waters served in 2/2nd Battalion AIF until the Wewak Campaign and then moved to 2/11th Battalion as batman to Lieutenant Colonel Charles Green, Commanding Officer of 2/11th Battalion. The tapes record a conversation with Olwyn Green about Woop's memories of the Second World War focussing in particular on his memories of Lieutenant Colonel C H Green, as research material for Olwyn's book 'The Name's Still Charlie', University of Queensland Press, 1983.
