Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. Of envelope design, this postcard features the numbers "1918" composed of the Red Ensign, Japanese, Portuguese, French, Australian, Russian, American, Italian, Belgian, Romanian and Serbian flags. A small card insert features the message "Many happy Returns of the Day", illustrated with a basket of flowers and a string of Allied flags.
