Description

Cox's Bazaar, Burma. 1944-12-06. Two RAAF pilots, who fly Tiger Moth aircraft evacuating wounded from small landing strips, often within sight of the enemy on the Arakan front. Standing beside a Stinson L5, another type of light aircraft used in this work, are Flying Officer Wally McLellan of Narrabri, NSW (left), and Pilot Officer W. G. M. Taylor of West Kogarah, NSW. They are part of operations with the 3rd Tactical Air Force (TAF) Communication Flight and No. 45 Squadron RAF.
