Vietnam. 1966-02. A team of Australian soldiers of Army Education Corps based at Bien Hoa has embarked on a new project - teaching the English language to Vietnamese children in the nearby village of Tan Mai. Corporal Bob Richardson of Pascoe Vale, Vic, supervises as his star pupil writes on the blackboard of the village school where the Diggers teach English each night in their spare time.
