The grave near El Adam of 402137 Sergeant (Sgt) Frank Blunden Reid pilot of 3 (Kittyhawk) Squadron RAAF. Sgt.
Reid was killed in operations with the squadron on 15 February, 1942, aged twenty six years. Sgt Reid's remains were later re-interred in the Halfaya Sollum War Cemetery near the Egyptian/Libyan border along the Mediterranean coastal road.
