Members of No 9 Squadron, RAAF, and of No 3 Squadron, Special Air Services (3SAS) Squadron, stand near an Iroquois helicopter on the Kangaroo Pad (Kanga pad) at Nui Dat, after a mounted captured Viet Cong (VC) weapon, a Soviet Mosinmagant M1944 carbine, was presented to the squadron in thanks for the excellent support and co-operation they had provided for the SAS.
