Binh Ba, South Vietnam. 1970-01. The crew commander of an armoured personnel carrier (APC), no. 32 4349, gives 'thumbs up' for a job well done. The APC, from B Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, was returning to its base at Nui Dat after a cordon and search of the rubber plantation village in Phuoc Tuy Province. Soldiers from the 5th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (5RAR), conducted the search, which resulted in the detention of twenty nine suspected Viet Cong supporters.
