Warrant Officer Class 2 (WO2) Bob Armitage of Holsworthy, NSW, is resting on the ground smoking a cigarette while listening to his transistor radio, his open paperback book lying on his leg. WO2 Armitage is Company Sergeant Major of A Company, 5th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (5RAR). 5RAR was participating in Operation Bondi, the Battalion's last operation in Vietnam.
