The Commander of the 5th South Vietnamese Army Regiment, Colonel Phim-The-Vinh presented Major (Maj) Frank Johnston of Canberra, ACT, with a Regimental plaque at Australia House, the headquarters of the Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV) where he worked. Earlier that day the Queen had announced that he was the recipient of an MBE. At the end of the day he left for Australia, having completed his tour of duty.
